Understanding our policies for cancellations, refunds, and returns
Craftedshlightan is committed to providing high-quality photography services. Due to the custom nature of our services, all sales are considered final once a photography session has been completed and images have been delivered.
However, we understand that circumstances may change, and we have established fair policies for cancellations, rescheduling, and refunds. This policy outlines your rights and our procedures.
If you need to cancel your booking before the scheduled session date, the following policies apply:
To cancel your booking, please contact us as soon as possible via email or phone. Refunds will be processed within 5-10 business days using the same payment method used for the original transaction.
We understand that circumstances may require rescheduling. Clients may reschedule their session under the following conditions:
Rescheduling is subject to our availability. We will make every effort to accommodate your preferred alternative date. If we cannot find a suitable alternative date within 90 days, cancellation policies will apply.
You may reschedule your session up to two times. Additional rescheduling requests may be subject to additional fees or treated as a new booking.
Due to the custom and artistic nature of photography services, refunds are not available after a session has been completed and images have been delivered. Photography is a service that cannot be "returned" in the traditional sense.
However, we are committed to client satisfaction and will work with you to address any concerns:
We encourage clients to review their images carefully and communicate any concerns promptly so we can address them while the session details are still fresh in our minds.
Digital images delivered via online gallery or download are considered delivered services and are not eligible for return or refund. Once images have been downloaded, the transaction is considered complete.
We recommend downloading and backing up your images immediately upon receipt. Online galleries are typically available for 90 days, after which they may be archived. We are not responsible for lost images due to client failure to download or back up files.
If you experience technical issues downloading your images, please contact us immediately, and we will assist you in accessing your files.
For physical print products (albums, prints, wall art), the following return policies apply:
To return a print product, please contact us to receive a return authorization and shipping instructions. Products must be returned in their original packaging and condition.
Gift vouchers are non-refundable but may be transferred to another person. Gift vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase and cannot be extended beyond the expiration date.
If you receive a gift voucher, you must book and complete your session before the expiration date. Unused portions of gift vouchers are not refundable, but you may use the remaining balance toward additional services or products.
Gift vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash and are only valid for services provided by Craftedshlightan.
In the event of circumstances beyond our control (including but not limited to natural disasters, government restrictions, photographer illness, or equipment failure), we will work with you to reschedule your session at no additional cost.
If rescheduling is not possible within a reasonable timeframe (90 days), a full refund will be provided. We will communicate with you as soon as possible if such circumstances arise.
We are not responsible for delays or cancellations due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, but we will make every effort to accommodate affected clients.
If you have a dispute regarding our services, please contact us directly to discuss the matter. We are committed to resolving issues fairly and amicably.
All disputes will be handled in accordance with Australian consumer law. We encourage open communication and will work with you to find a mutually satisfactory resolution.
If we cannot resolve a dispute directly, you may contact the relevant consumer protection agency in your jurisdiction for assistance.
